Who we are?
The livestock department brings together around twenty people, more than half of whom, specialized in equine insurance, are based in France, in Pierrefitte-en-Auge, near Deauville. We protect our clients' assets, whether they are important or not, thanks to our great financial stability. Markel Equine Insurance has been internationally recognized for over fifty years for the quality of its underwriting and its knowledge of horses. Our team of experts, in each discipline, collaborate with riders, professionals and owners to find suitable insurance solutions. Available 7 days a week, most of our employees are riders and owners, which allows us to understand the complexity of the equine world and the special link we have with our horses.
